The @CDN_Penny wants you to #showyourroll!

Last week, after the penny found out that it would no longer find comfort in the pockets and piggy banks of Canadians, it took to social media – and its grumpy, grieving Twitter profile (@CDN_Penny) amassed more than 2,400 followers in 24 hours.

Today, after being mentioned on Global News, CBC and more – that number is continuing to grow.
Thanks to the spontaneous work of Steve St. Pierre, a member of High Road’s design team, the snarky Canadian penny is feeling a little bit better this week and has accepted its imminent death.
Its last dying wish? To contribute to something good.
Today showyourroll.ca launched, an HRC-powered site encouraging people across Canada to gather up all those pesky pennies, tweet a photo for our Honour Roll and share with the world what cause they are donating to.

At High Road, our kids are checking their piggy banks, our team is fundraising internally, and our friends and families are helping us out.
And we’re not the only ones:
