Fusing Sport and Style: CCM Hockey Launches Ovechkin Streetwear
In June 2008 CCM Hockey launched NHL superstar Alexander Ovechkin into the world of fashion with the CCM Ovechkin Streetwear Collection, designed by Roger Edwards. To unveil the new line, CCM hosted an exclusive launch party for media and VIP guests at a chic new venue, Spice Route. Held on the eve of the 2008 NHL Awards, it was a media frenzy as attendees vied for a peek at the Hart Trophy nominee and some of the city’s hottest models sporting the new gear.
